The role - your passion

Procurement Strategy & Supplier Management:

• Development and implementation of procurement strategies for spare parts, technical components, and accessories, including cost, quality, and delivery responsibility for your product groups.

• Building and further developing strategic partnerships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and aftermarket suppliers, including audits and regular performance reviews.

• Analysis of procurement markets and building of dual sourcing strategies for risk minimization.

Negotiations & Contract Management:

• Independent negotiation of prices, contracts, and conditions, as well as concluding framework agreements and bonus models.

• Identification and realization of savings potentials for sustainable cost optimization.

Spare Parts Supply & Supply Chain:

• Ensuring economical and reliable spare parts supply for our Europe-wide vehicle fleet and avoiding vehicle downtime.

• Optimization of inventory levels based on demand and consumption data, in close cooperation with Fleet Management, Operations, and workshop networks.

Processes & Projects:

• Further development and digitalization of our procurement processes, as well as maintenance of material and supplier master data in our ERP systems.

• Leading and participating in cross-departmental procurement projects, including reporting of relevant purchasing KPIs.

What You Need To Surf The Wave With Us

Must-have

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in the automotive industry, ideally in the automotive aftermarket.

• Experience in dealing with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and aftermarket suppliers, and in price and contract negotiations.

• Very good knowledge of supplier and product group management.

• Practical knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Odoo, or comparable systems).

• Fluent German and English language skills as well as willingness to travel for supplier visits and audits.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in the area of motorhomes, campers, caravaning, or recreational vehicles.

• Knowledge of the European workshop and spare parts market.

• Experience with BI tools and data-driven purchasing decisions.

• Passion for camping, travel, and outdoor lifestyle.

Your Salary

We ❤️ transparency. The salary band for this position is between EUR 46,000 and EUR 50,000 gross annually. We are currently introducing salary bands in our job descriptions to ensure that all employees are treated fairly. Once we get to know each other better during the application process and can assess your skills and experience more precisely, we will find out together which level within the salary band suits you best. Your salary will be reviewed at least once a year in an annual feedback discussion.
