About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Role: Strategic Business Development Lead - SE Asia, 451 Research The Team: 451 Research, a business unit of S&P Global Energy Horizons, is a leading independent enterprise IT research, data and advisory group delivering global insights on AI, Data Centers & Digital Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Quantum and other emerging technologies. Our analysts deliver crucial, timely insights into market and competitive dynamics within emerging technologies. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive growth in SE Asia for 451 Research, leveraging relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and new revenue streams. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at major technology companies, startups, and venture capital firms in SE Asia. • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for 451 Research's research products and services in SE Asia, including thought leadership initiatives, marketing campaigns, and sales outreach efforts. • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development strategies and identify new opportunities. • Provide strategic counsel to senior leaders on emerging technology trends, market developments, and competitive dynamics in SE Asia. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or a related field, with a focus on emerging technologies. • Proven track record of driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships, new business development, and go-to-market strategies. • Strong understanding of the SE Asia technology market, including key players, trends, and competitive dynamics. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Fluency in English; proficiency in one or more Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) preferred.
