Road Construction Practitioner EBA (Apprenticeship 2027)
Do you wish for a solid vocational training with a high practical relevance in a company with many years of training experience? Then the City of Winterthur is the right place for you! In the two-year basic vocational training as a Road Construction Practitioner EBA, you will participate in the maintenance of roads, sidewalks and bike paths, squares, field paths, and traffic islands. After completing the apprenticeship and achieving good academic performance, the EFZ (Federal VET Diploma) can be acquired in a shortened training at a road construction company.Road Construction Practitioner EBA (Apprenticeship 2027)
Your tasks
- Carrying out simple staking, excavation, and filling work
- Installing kerb edges and laying asphalt surfaces
- Operating various machines, equipment, and tools, which you will also maintain and care for
- Supporting operations in cleaning public areas and buildings, as well as snow removal on public grounds
Your profile
- Completed compulsory schooling (Sek. C with very good grades or Sek. B) mandatory
- Good German language skills mandatory (min. B2 required)
- Manual dexterity
- Good physical strength and robust health
- Enjoyment of outdoor work
