As a Stowage Planner, you will be shaping the final piece of the logistics chain—designing smart, safe, and efficient stowage plans that keep world trade moving. Your role ensures vessels sail at their best, balancing operational efficiency with the highest safety standards for crew, cargo, and ship. As a Stowage Planner, you will be responsible for: • Developing and maintaining stowage plans that meet customer requirements and Maersk's operational needs. • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of stowage plans into the overall logistics process. • Analyzing and interpreting data to optimize vessel capacity, reduce transit times, and minimize environmental impact. • Staying up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices in stowage planning. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, engineering). • 2+ years of experience in stowage planning or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Familiarity with logistics software and systems (e.g., Navis, TMW).
