Are you looking for a varied day shift job where no two working days are the same?
For a stable and growing textile company in Ostend, we are looking for a driven maintenance and troubleshooting technician to join the technical team.
Your challenge?
As a technician, you are a crucial link in the production process. You ensure that the machinery keeps running and intervene quickly when technical problems arise.
Your tasks?
* Perform preventive maintenance on the machinery to prevent breakdowns.
* Organize and follow up on regular checks and maintenance.
* Install new machines and optimize or adapt existing installations.
* Analyze and efficiently resolve breakdowns to minimize downtime.
* Carry out repairs on machines and technical installations.
* Monitor the stock of spare parts and signal timely orders.
Profile
What we expect from you as a maintenance technician:
- You have a technical A2 diploma (electromechanics) OR equivalent experience.
- You have knowledge/experience with PCL and are also strong mechanically.
- You perfectly master the Dutch language.
- You have knowledge of ISO procedures, instructions, and forms.
- You can work in a team, are stress-resistant, and like to roll up your sleeves.
- You perfectly master the Dutch language.
- You work day shifts from Monday to Friday.
- You are someone we can count on and who has a sense of responsibility.
Offer
We offer you a full-time job as a maintenance technician at a growing textile company in Ostend.
- You work from Monday to Friday in day shifts (07:45 to 12:00 and from 12:30 to 16:15).
- Upon starting, you will receive extensive on-the-job training. After an onboarding period of 6 months, you will be on standby and on-call (this is once every 4 weeks).
- You will be paid according to your work and experience; your salary will be supplemented with extra-legal benefits.
