Are you organised, detail-driven and looking for a role where you can really take ownership of stock control and warehouse operations? Our client, a growing manufacturing business, is looking for a Stores Technician to join their Operations team and play a key role in keeping production running smoothly.
This is a full-time permanent position. The hours are 8am to 4pm.
For my client, motivation and willingness to learn are more key for this role. Use of systems, good communication skills and organised and self-motivated, looking for someone with a bit of get up and go.
The Role As a Stores Technician, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that all stock is accurately received, stored, tracked and issued to Production. You’ll support ongoing builds by making sure the correct components and kits are available on time, while maintaining high standards of organisation, safety and housekeeping within the warehouse.
You’ll also work closely with Contract Manufacturers and the Operations team to manage demand, maintain accurate ERP records and resolve stock discrepancies quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, label, store and issue stock
- Maintain ERP records and ensure real-time stock accuracy
- Build and prepare kits for Production
- Monitor and replenish low-level stock
- Identify and correct stock breaks and discrepancies
- Support stock audits and PI counts
- Liaise with Contract Manufacturers on current and future demand
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse
- Report stock issues to the Stores Supervisor
- Support the wider Operations team as needed
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A clear and confident communicator
- Comfortable using computers and ERP systems
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Previous warehouse or production environment experience
- ERP system experience
- Forklift truck licence
- Manual handling training
