Job description
We have vacancy for a Stores Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full control and supervision of the stores.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
General and financial control and supervision of all stores - including but not limited to receiving, tools & consumables
Gas bottle count and reconciliation
Stock planning and ordering
Timesheet management of all stores-related employees
Stores Cycle Counts / Stock Takes
Tools issue and receipt management
Requisition and other book control
Manage and monitor hazardous substances in line with OHS Act and regulations, including but not limited to gas cylinders and flammables
8 10 years proven stores management experience with a track record of managing teams and ensuring best practices for safety and performance
An engineering/steel manufacturing background will be an advantage
Computer literacy with intermediate to advanced excel skills is non-negotiable
A relevant qualification in warehouse management and/or supply chain management will be a distinct advantage.
