About the Role

As a Freight Sorter, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly - sorting, organizing, and distributing freight efficiently and safely.

Shift Available:

• 2:00 am - 7:00 am (subject to roster)

Key Responsibilities

• Sort Freight: Organize and route freight accurately based on destination, size, and type using forklifts and conveyors.
• Load and Unload: Safely move goods, loading and unloading trucks as part of daily operations.
• Inspect Shipments: Check for damage and verify all freight matches documentation before dispatch.
• Maintain Records: Keep clear and accurate freight documentation, including tracking numbers and shipment details.
• Ensure Safety: Follow all safety standards to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
• Collaborate: Work closely with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure timely, smooth operations.

What We're Looking For

• Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a drug test and background check.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when sorting and verifying freight.
• Physical Fitness: Able to lift, move, and handle freight for extended periods.
