We specialise in supporting builders, contractors and developers in the Australian Capital Territory with professional boundary stonework and landscaping solutions. Our services are tailored to combine functional durability, regulatory compliance, and aesthetic appeal, ensuring your projects not only meet technical requirements but also enhance the environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Stonemason with at least 2 years of experience to join our talented team.

As a Stonemason, the role will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Determine the materials, dimensions and work required to create the desired outcome for clients as specified in plans and drawings
• Liaise with architects to conceptualise the design, including patterns, colours, and materials
• Repair, build and maintain bricks, cement blocks and wall structures layer by layer, ensuring structural integrity, paying attention to aesthetics
• Conduct tests to confirm the mixture is suitable for use, ensuring it is neither too wet nor too dry for use to build, repair or maintain wall structures
• Evaluate the project area for drainage and soil stability to determine the best approach
• Select suitable stones that can be arranged in a cohesive manner to complete the design vision and use hand tools to shape, polish and adjust to fit irregular spaces
• Carefully positioning stones and other material to create a level surface, ensuring they are tightly fitted to prevent movement
• Tamping down stones and filling in gaps with smaller stones or gravel to enhance stability and create the desired outcome for clients as per plans and drawings
• Choose stones that align with the design vision, considering texture and hue
• Add features such as niches, shelves, or lighting to enhance the wall's visual impact
• Clean and seal walls, if necessary, to protect the stones and enhance their appearance
