Medici Marble and Granite are seeking an experienced Full-Time Stonemason to join our skilled team in Wangara, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including stonework for residential, commercial, and restoration purposes. If you have 2-3 years of relevant experience and a passion for craftsmanship, we’d love to hear from you!

Stone Cutting & Shaping: Use hand tools and machinery to cut, shape, and finish stones to precise specifications.

Construction: Build and repair stone walls, buildings, and other structures using mortar or other binding materials.

Restoration: Repair and restore deteriorating stonework on heritage and modern buildings.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read and follow architectural and engineering drawings to ensure accurate project execution.

Material Selection: Choose the right materials based on strength, durability, and appearance for each project.

Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as saws, drills, and grinders.

Safety: Comply with safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Cost Estimation: Calculate materials required and assess costs for stonemasonry projects.

Tool Maintenance: Regularly clean and maintain tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest stonemasonry techniques and technologies.

Education: Certificate III, Certificate IV, or Diploma in Stonemasonry or related field.

Experience:

Australian Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Australia, OR

Overseas Experience: Minimum 3 years of stonemasonry experience internationally.

Work Rights: Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Full Work Rights Holder.

Preferred: Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents, but applicants with full work rights who meet the criteria are also encouraged to apply.
