Steward/Hostess

Job Just On Business Spa (JOB), with over 20 years of experience in personnel search and selection, is seeking Steward/Hostess for fairs, congresses, and large events in the province of Varese and surrounding areas. What you will do - Welcome and registration of event participants, providing clear and professional information. - Management of visitor flow: orientation towards stands, dedicated areas, and points of interest. - Support in access control activities, verification of invitations/badges, and assistance during entry phases. - Supervision of exhibition areas, conference rooms, or hospitality spaces, ensuring order, presence, and support for exhibitors. - Distribution of informative materials, gadgets, and documentation. - Operational assistance to event organizers for logistical or coordination needs. - Management of participant requests, resolution of small problems, and customer care activities. - Maintenance of order and cleanliness in assigned areas and monitoring of safety regulations. What we are looking for - Preferable experience, even brief, as hostess/steward, receptionist, promoter, or in front office roles. - Excellent communication skills, careful presence, and professional attitude. - Punctuality, reliability, and ability to maintain a well-ordered behavior even in high-traffic contexts. - Teamwork attitude and public contact. - Flexibility in scheduling and availability to work on events, including weekends or evening shifts. - Basic knowledge of English or other languages is welcome. What we offer - Fixed-term contract or call-up contract, depending on the duration and type of events. - Variable commitment based on the fair calendar and scheduled events. - Job classification: expected level according to the CCNL Commercio/Servizi, commensurate with experience and assigned role. - Place of work: fairs, events, and manifestations in the Varese province and surrounding areas.
