Do you want to develop your expertise in the field of Value Added Tax and take on responsibility in an international corporate environment?
We are looking for you at our location in Moringen near Göttingen, as a Tax Specialist / VAT Specialist (m/f/d), starting immediately and on a permanent basis. In this position, you will manage our VAT-related matters, from operational reporting to the technical assessment of complex issues. Simultaneously, you will contribute to intercompany topics and transfer pricing questions, making an important contribution to our closing processes.

• Preparation and timely submission of VAT advance returns and annual tax returns
• Tax assessment of national and international business transactions with a focus on Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Point of contact (m/f/d) for internal departments on VAT and tax-related questions
• Participation in tax audits and coordination with external tax advisors and authorities
• Analysis and further development of processes in the areas of VAT and Tax Compliance
• Support with intercompany billing and intra-group business transactions
• Involvement in transfer pricing documentation
• Support for the general ledger in the context of monthly and annual financial statements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as a tax assistant (m/f/d) or balance sheet accountant (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
• Initial or several years of professional experience in taxation, VAT, accounting, or financial accounting
• Good knowledge of VAT law and interest in international tax issues
• Experience with intercompany processes, tax compliance, or transfer pricing is an advantage
• Proficient use of ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA, is desirable
• Structured, careful, and independent way of working
• Strong team and communication skills for collaboration with departments and external partners
• Good German and English language skills are an advantage for international matters
