Tax Consultant (m/w/d)

The EG Group belongs to the world's largest independent providers in the fuel, retail, and food-to-go sectors with a continuously growing portfolio of currently around 5,600 locations in eight countries. Since the end of 2018, the EG Group has operated through its German subsidiaries in Germany a network of more than 1,300 filling stations, primarily under the Esso brand, as well as fast-food restaurants of various brands, including BURGER KING and KFC. Furthermore, this portfolio includes convenience stores and other retail formats. As part of our ongoing growth strategy, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Tax Consultant (m/w/d) to join our team in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a degree in tax consulting or a related field and several years of experience in the same area. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, as well as providing support to our management team with regard to tax-related matters. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to: • Preparing and reviewing financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with German GAAP; • Providing support to the management team on tax-related matters; • Maintaining and updating tax records and files; • Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
