Tax Specialist (all genders)

Mission

As a Tax Operations Associate and experienced Tax Specialist at Integral, you are not just a professional, you are a central part of our mission to redefine tax services for SMEs. You won't be working in a traditional firm, but in one of Germany's most exciting startups, reinventing the industry. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams, take responsibility for the quality of our tax processes, and actively contribute to making workflows more efficient. Your tasks

• Support and processing of tax matters for our SME clients: from financial accounting to the preparation of tax returns

• Ensuring high-quality, timely service quality for our clients – end-to-end

• Close collaboration with our tax advisors in the team and the product team to continuously improve processes

• Independent identification of manual, recurring tasks: and active participation in automating or optimizing them

• Utilizing the AI-powered platform and digital tools to increase efficiency and quality in your daily work

• Communication with clients at a high, professional level: clear, empathetic, and solution-oriented

• Critical reflection on your own work: What can I learn? What can I do better? How can I help the team become more efficient?
  

Your profile

• Completed training as a tax assistant or comparable qualification, at least 4 years of professional experience

• You want more than just administrative work, you think along, question processes, and want to create real added value

• Strong initiative: You don't wait for someone to tell you what to do, you recognize what's needed and act

• No fear of new tools and technologies: you are curious, learn quickly, and want to actively master digital ways of working

• Critical self-reflection: You know your strengths, recognize gaps, and actively work to advance yourself and your team

• Quality awareness: You deliver meticulously, reliably, and with a genuine standard for your own work

• Experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a clear plus

• You work entirely on-site in our Berlin office

• Fluent German skills required, English skills an advantage
