About the Position

For an established tax firm in Soest, which is part of a nationwide tax advisory group, we are looking for Tax Assistants / Tax Specialists / Accountants (m/f/d). The firm advises entrepreneurs, freelancers, and self-employed individuals from almost all industries and company sizes – from start-up through expansion to succession planning. The range of services includes tax advice, financial accounting, annual financial statements and tax returns, payroll and salary accounting, as well as business consulting. Personal support, professional competence, and trusting cooperation with clients are at the forefront.

Your Tasks

• Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, you will undertake the following activities:
• Preparation of tax returns
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Independent execution of financial accounting
• Processing of payroll and salary accounting
• Review of tax assessments
• Independent support and advice for clients
• Communication with tax authorities and other government agencies

Your Profile

• Completed apprenticeship as a Tax Assistant or further training as a Tax Specialist
• Alternatively, relevant professional experience as an Accountant, including from the private sector
• Sound knowledge of accounting
• Professional experience in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Confident use of DATEV
• Reliable, structured, and independent way of working
• Enjoyment of teamwork and direct client contact
• Professional experience is explicitly welcome
