Tax Specialist (m/w/d) Sales Tax Europe

The Falken Tyre Europe GmbH is the successful daughter of one of the leading Japanese tire manufacturers SUMITOMO RUBBER INDUSTRIES LTD. and markets and distributes tires under the Falken brand in the entire European aftermarket and original equipment market. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated Tax Specialist (m/w/d) for the Finance department. Tasks: Monthly sales tax inspection Preparation of the sales tax declaration for Germany and other European countries Preparation of the sales tax return for the EU Preparation of the VAT return for the EU Coordination with the accounting department for the preparation of the financial statements Coordination with the management for the preparation of the annual report Support in the implementation of new processes and procedures in the finance department. Requirements: University degree in taxation or a related field Several years of experience in sales tax law, preferably in an international environment Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Knowledge of SAP is an advantage Familiarity with EU VAT regulations and German tax laws is required.
