For a medium-sized tax consulting firm, SKILLs is looking for a Tax Assistant (m/f/d) in Hamburg.

Our client is a owner-managed tax consulting firm located in the middle of one of Hamburg's most beautiful districts. The employees can draw on a wealth of experience: both in terms of different industries, activities, and company forms, as well as in particularly complex cases that require technical expertise or practical knowledge of the tax peculiarities of an explicit question in a specific area. With sound expertise, the team offers holistic and creative tax consulting – including representation before tax authorities and other agencies.

Tasks

• You will independently manage clients of various sizes and industries
• You will independently create financial statements, annual financial statements, and tax returns for medium-sized businesses, and sometimes for private individuals, using DATEV
• You will maintain efficient communication with clients, tax authorities, and social security institutions by carefully processing inquiries and submitting all required documents on time
• You will take care of deadline extensions and ensure proper submission of documents, while competently responding to queries, clarifying facts, and filing well-founded objections if necessary.
• You are responsible for account reconciliation and their maintenance
• Payroll accounting is not part of the task

Qualification

• You are a trained Tax Assistant (m/f/d) with at least two years of professional experience
• You have at least two years of professional experience as a Tax Assistant (m/f/d)
• You have IT skills in DATEV and Microsoft Office
• You work conscientiously and with commitment
• You are outgoing and can easily adapt to different clients and responsibly process their questions and concerns
• You enjoy working in a team with expertise, humor, and good spirits, and a trusting and appreciative work environment is important to you
