Deputy Head Physician Specialist in Internal Medicine (m/f/d)

Job description

The interdisciplinary ward of our private clinic with attending physicians has 35 beds. In addition to surgical patients from numerous specialist areas, patients receiving conservative treatment are also cared for.

Responsibilities

Supervision and leadership of junior doctors
Organization of duty and deployment planning
First point of contact for attending physicians and management
Pre- and post-operative treatment and care of patients
Participation in and preparation of attending physician rounds
Initiation and execution of immediate measures in emergencies
Professional execution of diagnostic and therapeutic measures
Information and consultation sessions with patients and their relatives
Participation in our quality assurance and quality development
Participation in weekly meetings

Profile

Completed specialist training in Internal Medicine
First-class medical knowledge
Independent, self-reliant, and cooperative work style
Empathy in dealing with patients and their relatives
Reliability and sense of responsibility
High teamwork skills
Excellent communication skills
Initial leadership experience desirable
Very good German language skills (C1 level) and English language skills (B2-C1 level)
Further language skills are an advantage
