For our famila department store in Neu Wulmstorf, we are looking for an Assistant Store Manager (m/f/d) on a full-time basis.

• You lead and train your team and plan staff deployment
• You ensure compliance with all existing work instructions
• You share responsibility for continuous in-house MHD (minimum durability date) and freshness control in all product ranges
• You are responsible for goods ordering, adherence to specified product placement, product availability, and the implementation of weekly sales activities for all departments in the store
• You keep track of compliance with all legal regulations relevant to the store (HACCP, organic guidelines, price labeling, product descriptions and declarations)
• You are responsible for the training and supervision of apprentices and junior managers
• You conduct representative discussions
• You monitor cost and sales development, as well as regular inventory counts, and are responsible for the smooth running of goods ordering and flow

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship (preferably in the food sector)
• You have initial leadership experience
• You possess basic product knowledge
• Enjoy customer interaction in direct sales conversations
• You love retail
• You are communicative, independent, outgoing, and customer-oriented
