Deputy Team Lead 80-100% (m/f/d)

For over 25 years, we at Leonardo have lived our passion for gelato and Italian hospitality. As a family-run business, we operate up to 7 locations with up to 70 dedicated employees.

For our Gelateria & Bar Leonardo in Sihlcity, we are looking for a Deputy Team Lead, starting December 1, 2026, or by arrangement. Here, you can expect flat hierarchies, a high degree of personal responsibility, and the opportunity to actively shape the location.

Your main responsibilities

• Support the team lead in daily operations and act as their deputy in their absence

• Ensure a warm and professional guest experience

• Motivate, support, and train employees

• Actively participate in service, at the bar, and at the gelato counter

• Coordinate daily workflows and assist with shift planning

• Share responsibility for inventory orders, stock management, inventory counts, and cash handling

• Ensure our quality, hygiene, and service standards

• Close collaboration with the team lead

What you bring

• Professional experience in gastronomy, ideally as a Barista

• Enjoy taking on responsibility and supporting a team

• Organizational skills, initiative, and a reliable work ethic

• High service orientation and a warm, professional demeanor

• Good German language skills; other languages such as English or Italian are a plus

What we offer you

• Unlimited contract with monthly salary

• Start date from December 1, 2026, or by arrangement

• Workload: 80% (33.6 hours/week) or 100% (42 hours/week)

• 5 working days per week for a 100% workload, from Monday to Saturday. Days off vary depending on the shift schedule.

• Varied early and late shifts between 8:00 AM and approximately 9:00 PM, each 8.4 hours per working day – no split shifts.
