Deputy Accounting Leadership (m/w/d) as Parental Leave Representation in Full-time

The municipality of Umkirch is a lively and growing community in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district. Our administration understands itself as a modern service provider for citizens. To strengthen our team in the accounting department, we are looking for an engaged and responsible person with expertise in municipal finance.

Tasks

• Taxation of trade and entertainment tax
• Billing for water and sewage fees
• Processing of tax matters
• Implementation of regulations under § 2b UStG
• Lending administration
• Participation in preparing the annual financial statement and budget plan
• Accounting for the Water Supply Company GmbH

Qualification

• Degree as an administrative assistant or equivalent qualification
• In-depth knowledge of municipal finance
• Pleasure in dealing with numbers and well-developed mathematical skills
• Good IT skills and secure handling of MS Office programs
• Ideal experience with the financial software SAP
• Engaged, structured, and self-reliant working style
