Deputy Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

With locations in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberau, Langmatz develops, produces, and markets technical system solutions for the energy technology, telecommunications, and traffic infrastructure sectors with its 440 employees. We are looking for you to strengthen our team in a full-time position, as soon as possible.

• Technical leadership and organization of the team in day-to-day operations, as well as close cooperation and representation of the Head of Accounting
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Liquidity management as well as operative steering and monitoring of accounts receivable management and dunning procedures
• Value-added tax processing and advance notifications
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and financial authorities
• Active participation in the digitalization and continuous improvement of accounting processes, as well as openness to the future use of modern tools and AI-based applications

• Successfully completed university degree (focus on finance), certified balance sheet accountant, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in accounting; ideally, initial leadership experience
• Proficiency in preparing financial statements in accordance with HGB and experience in group accounting
• Sound expertise in tax law (focus on value-added tax)
• Confident handling of complex ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor) as well as a strong affinity for digital processes and modern software tools
