Deputy Manager of the Bookstore (m/w/d)

Govern the daily routine in your bookstore – for your team and for our customers. You take responsibility for processes, atmosphere, and teamwork coordination. In doing so, you ensure that your bookstore remains a place where stories come alive and people enjoy lingering.

Your tasks with us

• A world where content matters: Shape our book worlds with and take daily responsibility alongside the leadership for an excellent customer experience and optimal process flow in one of our Thalia bookstores.
• Create a positive and sustainable work atmosphere, where you as a link between management and employees ensure that the team feels comfortable and can fully develop its potential.
• As an omnichannel retailer, you are responsible for planning and steering the product range in consultation with leadership, while also keeping track of relevant store metrics during monitoring.
• Lead new events and targeted actions in your bookstore to introduce book-loving generations and turn non-readers into readers.
• Support the bookstore management in gaining and fostering talents.
