Steel Detailer

Steel Detailer, Tipton, £50k My client is a design and manufacturing company within the structural steel sector. They currently have a requirement for an experienced and proven Steel Detailer to join their team. They work on a wide range of projects and can accommodate all aspects of the project in-house from concept to site installation. Key Responsibilities include: • Create and develop 3D structural models in Tekla Structures/StruCAD. • Liaise with contract design teams, fabricators, and stakeholders to ensure accurate detailing and fabrication. • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless integration of designs into manufacturing processes. • Develop and maintain detailed drawings and specifications for steel structures. • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Key Requirements: • Proven experience as a Steel Detailer in the structural steel sector. • Strong understanding of Tekla Structures/StruCAD software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
