Job description

A Western Australian-born business that has successfully expanded into Victoria is now taking the next big step: establishing and scaling its Queensland operation.

If you’re the kind of leader who sees a blank canvas and thinks “let’s build something serious here”, you’ll love this role.

This isn’t a caretaker job.
It’s a growth role.

Why this role:
QLD is the next strategic market for the business.
You’ll be the person driving that expansion, commercially, operationally, and culturally.

You’ll be leading a small but hungry team of two young BDMs who are keen, driven, and just need the right leader: someone who can push, coach, guide, and lift their game.

You’ll have full support from head office, but you’ll be the one steering the ship in Queensland.

What you’ll do:
  • Own and grow the QLD operation: revenue, relationships, market presence.
  • Lead and develop two BDMs: build their capability, sharpen their approach, and set clear expectations.
  • Win new business while strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Build brand presence across construction, civil, industrial, and other relevant markets.
  • Shape the future of the QLD team: hire, develop, and grow headcount as the state expands.
  • Work closely with the leadership to align strategy and share wins, challenges, and opportunities.
You’ll thrive here if you are:
  • A proven sales or state leader with experience in industrial, civil, construction, machinery, manufacturing, or similar B2B environments.
  • A builder: someone who knows how to grow revenue, not just maintain it.
  • Commercially sharp: strong with pricing, margins, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Relationship-driven with the ability to open doors and build credibility quickly.
  • Resilient and proactive, the kind of person who owns problems and solves them.
If you’re someone who likes walking into an already-polished machine… this isn’t the job.

If you want to build one? You’re exactly who we want to speak with.

What’s on offer
  • A senior leadership role with genuine autonomy.
  • The chance to build something meaningful in QLD with the backing of a stable, growing business.
  • A motivated team ready for the right guidance.
  • Salary between $170,000 -$185,000, + Super + Car + bonuses.
