Hays is as a recruitment and selection agency looking for a start up engineer for a company specialized in agricultural machinery

Your new role
As a start up engineer, you will analyze faults that occur in the machine and try to resolve them yourself. In doing so, you will perform a full technical inspection: you will check if all electrical and hydraulic components are properly connected and you will check via a checklist if the software works correctly.
You will also point out any issues you notice during your work that can be improved, discuss these with team leaders and engineers, so they can further improve processes. Furthermore, you will carefully check if all components are properly assembled.
In addition, you will perform various practical tests, such as a braking test or a driving test on the road, to ensure the machine is in perfect working order. At all times, you will work with great attention to quality, precision and safety.

Your profile
Hays is looking for someone with a technical bachelor's degree in electromechanics, automotive technology. Both someone with experience and a hands-on school leaver are eligible. You have a strong interest in electricity, hydraulics and mechanics, and basic knowledge of software is a plus. You enjoy tinkering and think practically and solution-oriented. You work well together with Assembly, R&D and other departments.

Job conditions
You will receive an attractive salary package with extralegal benefits, including meal vouchers and the option to lease a bike. You will work 40 hours a week and receive 20 vacation days and 12 ADV-days.
