Senior Specialist in Forecasting and Budgeting in the Oil Trading Department
Your responsibilities
Independent preparation of market analyses and forecasts for the Oil Trading Office, including support for planning processes
Design, development, and maintenance of databases and analytical methodologies for use in short- and long-term forecasts and planning processes
Creation, development, and improvement of tools and models for market data forecasting
Preparation of cyclical reports for internal and external clients
Cooperation with business units in the development and implementation of data science analytical solutions dealing with market analysis, and tools supporting forecasting and budgeting processes
Operation of IT systems, including systems supporting crude oil trading, reporting, and data analysis
Identification and implementation of improvements in forecasting, planning, and reporting processes
Our requirements
Higher education, preferred field: economics, finance, or related
Several years of experience in forecasting, financial planning, budgeting, or a related field
Experience in independent execution of analyses and development of market forecasts supporting decision-making processes
Ability to work with databases (ability to aggregate distributed data)
Experience in presenting analysis results and data-based recommendations, and ability to prepare concise, transparent reports and presentations
Initiative in identifying improvements and optimization of analytical and planning processes
Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite, especially Ms Excel and Power Point
Very good knowledge of English, enabling fluent communication in an international environment
Effectiveness in action and business responsibility
Focus on continuous development and ability to draw from different perspectives
Nice to have
Practical knowledge of Excel VBA, SQL, and Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI tools
Experience in building predictive models and using statistical methods and data science tools
Knowledge of the crude oil market
Experience in automating reporting and analytical processes
Category B driving license
