Senior Mechanical Designer (M/F)

Your responsibilities

• Supporting designers in solving construction problems and making design decisions
• Identifying problems, risks, and limitations affecting the execution of work and taking actions to resolve them
• Estimating the workload of tasks and supporting the planning of design work schedules
• Supporting the development of team members' competencies, sharing knowledge, and building responsibility for completed tasks
• Initiating improvements in team work organization and the design process
• Cooperation with Project Managers and Development Project Coordinators in the planning and execution of development projects
• Developing concepts and construction solutions for designed products
• Designing mechanical elements, assemblies, and devices using SolidWorks software
• Developing and verifying construction documentation
• Author's supervision over the assembly, integration, and commissioning of designed products
• Participation in verification tests of designed products
• Cooperation with the Prototyping Department in the preparation and execution of prototype assembly
• Cooperation with the Research and Testing Department in the preparation and execution of research and tests of designed products
• Ensuring the quality of design work and developed construction solutions

Our requirements

• Higher technical education (Master of Science or PhD), preferred fields: mechanics, machine construction, mechatronics, or related
• Several years of experience in mechanical design
• Very good knowledge of SolidWorks
• Experience in creating construction documentation
• Practical knowledge of the process of designing and implementing mechanical solutions
• Experience in coordinating a team
• Ability to independently solve construction problems
• Ability to organize one's own work and the team's work
• Responsibility for the quality and timeliness of executed work

Nice to have

• Experience in coordinating projects, especially technical projects
• Ability to organize and coordinate the work of people involved in project execution
• Ability to set priorities, monitor work progress, and enforce agreed deadlines
• Ability to convey information, delegate tasks, and ensure proper information flow in the project
