Senior Java Developer m/f/d

Join the Asseco team - the largest IT company in Poland, which has been developing solutions supporting key business and financial areas for years. We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience who wants to develop in a stable project environment and work on systems of real business significance. The project concerns the development of the SOBOS system - a solution supporting the sale of Treasury Bonds to millions of Poles. On a daily basis, we develop financial applications used on a large scale, focusing on quality, responsibility, and a long-term approach to technology. We work in an experienced, stable team where cooperation, knowledge exchange, and a calm pace of project development matter. We are also currently developing the frontend layer based on Angular, which is why the role offers the opportunity for gradual development towards full-stack development and gaining experience on the frontend side as well. Hybrid work - 3 days from the office, 2 days remotely per week from our office in Wrocław or Opole. Recruitment process - 1 interview + 1 technical meeting. What will you need to perform the tasks? Very good knowledge of Java 8+/11+/17+ and the Spring Framework ecosystem Advanced knowledge of Hibernate/JPA Very good knowledge of REST API design and implementation Good knowledge of SOAP Web Services technologies (WSDL, XSD, WS-Security) Very good knowledge of SQL language (with particular emphasis on performance) Experience working with Oracle Database Experience in designing and implementing high-performance and reliable applications Good knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, and encryption Experience with queuing systems (Kafka) and integration Nice to have: Knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3, and Angular Experience in building applications for mobile devices Basic knowledge of finance Your tasks in this position: Development and maintenance of Java-based financial applications - 70% development, 30% maintenance Creation and development of REST API and SOAP integrations Participation in the design and implementation of new functionalities Preparation of technical documentation Support for internal tests and UAT Cooperation with a team of analysts, testers, and developers - a 5-person team Service support for developed applications Benefits Integration meetings Group insurance Private medical care Multisport Language courses Trainings Access to advanced technologies Fruity Wednesdays Active Team Group Employee Pension Plan
