The Childhood and Transition sector of the Vernand Foundation accompanies the
Interns for our special education classes (M/F) - 100% fixed-term contract
The Childhood and Transition sector of the Vernand Foundation supports the development of nearly 200 students with autism spectrum disorder and/or intellectual disability.
To contribute to our inclusive goals and ensure the well-being, potential development, and autonomy of our students, we are looking for the following for our special education classes located in Cossonay, Nyon, and the Lausanne region:
Interns for our special education classes - 6-month fixed-term contract at 100%
We offer you:
Meaningful work in a school setting contributing to the development of children with intellectual disabilities, aiming to make them as autonomous as possible in their daily and future lives.
A carefully designed professional environment, adapted to the specific needs of the students.
Internship supervision by a professional in the field.
An excellent working atmosphere within a multidisciplinary team.
A paid internship.
We ask you:
Completion of compulsory schooling.
A strong interest in the field of special education and in working with children with intellectual disabilities.
Abilities to propose creative activities and lead educational and recreational workshops.
Start date: August 10, 2026
End date: January 31, 2027
Location to be agreed upon: Nyon, Cossonay, or Lausanne region.
