Job Summary

The incumbent will act as a Summer Intern Laboratory Technician within the laboratory expertise group of ABS. He/She will primarily perform laboratory tests on materials and compile test results, preparing reports.

Main Responsibilities

Perform control tests on various materials such as soils, granulates, cement concrete, and bituminous mixtures according to current standards;
Carry out maintenance and calibration tasks for equipment;
Ensure support to the laboratory supervisor regarding operations, technical support, and quality assurance;
Maintain respect for health and safety at work rules;
Perform material sampling on construction sites (if required);
All other tasks related to the proper functioning of the laboratory.
