Internship Offer: Data Analysis and Battery Modeling on Electric Trains

Context
We are looking for a motivated intern to participate in an innovative study on battery-powered trains. This internship aims to analyze field-collected data and develop equivalent electrical models, while exploring advanced machine learning techniques, including Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINN).

Internship Objectives
The intern will contribute to the following activities:

• Analyze available field data on battery performance.
• Take charge of and understand current equivalent circuit models (ECM) for batteries.
• Fit these models from collected data.
• Investigate and apply machine learning methods to improve modeling, including PINN.
• Write a methodological document summarizing approaches and results.

Expected Results and Objectives
The main objective of this internship is to compare different methods for creating battery models solely from field data. Expected results include detecting abnormal behavior and evaluating battery aging.

Desired Profile
We are looking for a student in their final year of engineering school or Master's 2, with a background in mathematics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Please join your CV and motivation letter to your application.
