As we further expand our project portfolio in the Netherlands, we are looking for a driven and eager intern for our Project Development team in Amsterdam.

The Role

Skytree is actively developing DAC projects in Dutch horticulture — a market with significant potential in sustainable energy and a growing demand for circular CO₂.

As an Intern Business Development for the Netherlands, you will support the team in identifying and developing these opportunities — from the initial contact to a project partnership. This is a hands-on, commercial role: you will map out customers, approach prospects, and help build the pipeline that brings Skytree's technology into practice.

Your Impact

Market Development & Opportunity Mapping

• Support market research and mapping opportunities in the Netherlands, and qualifying potential project partners and offtakers.

• Identify new commercial opportunities.

Project Development Support

• Contribute to project proposals, business cases, and feasibility studies for DAC installations.

• Conduct customer visits and present our product.

• Track and update Skytree's strategic project pipeline across different project phases (stage gates).

• Collaborate with the business finance, product development, and commercial teams to bring projects from idea to realization.

Commercial Intelligence

• Follow developments in the Netherlands.

• Assist in preparing commercial presentations, pitch materials, and partner briefings.

• Contribute to Skytree's growing network in the Netherlands by identifying and approaching relevant contacts.

What we are looking for

• A master's student or recent graduate in Business Administration, Economics, Sustainability, Energy, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and research skills — you translate market data into actionable insights.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.

• An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine interest in climate technology and the energy transition.

• You feel at home in a dynamic, international team.

• Experience in commercial roles, consulting, or project development is a plus.

• Availability from November for at least 6 months.
