As an intern at Dura Vermeer Construction and Real Estate Amsterdam, you'll have the opportunity to be in the thick of it. No fetching coffee or paperwork, you'll dive into the practicalities of safety on the construction site together with our safety advisor. Whether it's conducting inspections or brainstorming safety training: you'll make an impact.

This will be your internship

As an intern at Dura Vermeer Construction and Real Estate Amsterdam, you will work at our office or on one of our projects. During your internship, you will be well supervised by one of our colleagues and you will have the space to further develop yourself! You will direct your own activities by showing responsibility. You determine, together with your supervisor, how your internship period will look. Your commitment and ideas will determine the success of your internship! 

This is what you will do

• Go along to conduct safety inspections.

• Analyze risks and help prepare safety plans.

• Actively participate in toolbox meetings and safety training.

• Assist with incident investigations and contribute to improvement plans.

• Support the implementation of safety measures and systems.

This is what you bring 

• You are pursuing a higher professional education (hbo) in the direction of Integral Safety Studies (or equivalent);

• Curiosity about safety in practice, especially in the construction sector;

• Not afraid to roll up your sleeves;

• Proactive, sociable, and you enjoy working together, but also know how to find your way independently;

• Available from February 2027 for at least 4 days per week.
