The Internship Assignments

In the Engineering/Industrial Engineering department, we have two challenging internship assignments open. You will work on one of our new automated processes and investigate how we can further optimize them. You will combine technology, data, and process improvement, and you will have the opportunity to actually implement your improvements in practice.

Possible activities and internship assignments include:

• You will investigate and optimize Nedlin Hospitality's new automated linen folding process. Using process data and the DMAIC methodology, you will map out performance and bottlenecks, implement improvements, and ensure they are embedded for higher productivity, quality, and reliability.

• You will investigate the new automated sorting process for dirty laundry at Nedlin Healthcare. You will analyze the performance and efficiency of the installation, identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities, and develop suitable optimizations. Subsequently, you will help implement these improvements and evaluate the results.

• You will investigate how Nedlin can set up a digital knowledge base to better support the Technical Service department. You will collect and structure existing technical knowledge, such as manuals, maintenance instructions, and logbooks, and set up the knowledge base in such a way that it is suitable for both the work planner and a future Copilot agent. Subsequently, you will implement and test the knowledge base in practice.

  • € 400 gross per month for university of applied sciences students (based on 40 hours per week);

Who are you?

• You are pursuing a university of applied sciences education, preferably Industrial Engineering.

• You work independently, accurately, and proactively.

• You communicate easily with various colleagues.

• You are available 32 to 40 hours per week for a hands-on or graduation internship.

• You can travel independently to our location in Elsloo.
