Will you help us build?

Our R&D team, divided over various SCRUM teams, is responsible for building and developing the IXON Cloud platform. Every aspect of our solution, from the robust backend to the user-friendly frontend, advanced hardware, and our global DevOps infrastructure, is developed within our walls with passion and expertise.

Our R&D team, which now consists of over 30 technical specialists, is always open to young talents who want to grow and develop further. During each internship period, we offer multiple spots for students in the following sub-areas:

• Backend development;

• Frontend development;

• Embedded Software Development;

• DevOps;

• Security;

• Software testing.

Here you will get acquainted with our tech stack, consisting of:

Of course, we are always open to input from students regarding new tooling, frameworks, and techniques.

What assignments can you expect?

• Studio for e-mail

Due to the continuous growth in the number of IXON Cloud users, the diversity of specific wishes is increasing. A frequently heard need is the personalization of email messages sent from the platform to end-users. Currently, the customization options are limited to only colors and logos. The goal of this assignment is to offer customers full control over the design and content of their emails. To achieve this, an intuitive email studio will be developed with which the user can easily create and manage messages according to their own insights.

• Support Beckhoff ADS via pull application (Embedded Software Development)

Implement support for the Beckhoff ADS protocol in C++ to increase the compatibility of the IXON data pipeline. You will realize the complete connection on the gateway and make data logging easily configurable in the fleet manager.

• Accelerating End-to-End (E2E) testing (Software testing)

Optimize the End-to-End test environment of IXON Cloud to increase the feedback loop and release speed for developers. You will identify bottlenecks and implement acceleration solutions within the GitLab CI/CD pipeline.

This is you

You are an HBO student in the direction of (Embedded) Software Development, Security, or related, and are looking for an (graduation) internship with impact. You have a passion for developing cool software solutions and enjoy the freedom to try new things. You don't go for shortcuts, but work structurally on qualitative solutions. Furthermore, you are a true team player, who can therefore effortlessly integrate into one of our SCRUM teams.
