Social Media & (Offline) Marketing Internship | Amsterdam mbo/hbo/wo

What will you do? 

As a Social Media & (Offline) Marketing Intern at Flagship Amsterdam, you will have the opportunity to help build the online visibility of this unique canal cruise organization and all its labels, including Flagship Bike Tours, Aemstelland, and Voyage. You will contribute to creative campaigns and get hands-on experience creating inspiring content that perfectly captures the Flagship atmosphere. This way, you will gain practical experience with social media and content marketing and develop your creative skills in a dynamic environment.

What will you learn?

• Creating content for our social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn;

• Making posts, reels, videos, and stories;

• Planning and managing the content calendar;

• Devising and executing creative campaigns to increase our visibility and engagement;

• Supporting the organization of PR events;

• Analyzing social media performance and identifying opportunities for improvement;

• Spotting trends and translating them into new content ideas that resonate with our target audience;

• Designing visuals and marketing materials using Canva or InDesign;

• Developing stories and concepts that strengthen our brands.

Practical Information

Start date: February 2027;

Duration: at least 5 months;

Internship type: work placement internship;

Internship compensation: €500 per month;

Location: office in the heart of Amsterdam.

Job Requirements

• You are pursuing an mbo, hbo, or wo education in a relevant field, such as marketing, communication, media, creative business, or a similar direction;

• You are proficient in both Dutch and English;

• Residing in Amsterdam or the surrounding area;

• You have an affinity with social media and content creation.
