Internship - Social Media Manager

Context

You will join the Brand team, within Pennylane's Communication & Content department.

Caroline, our social media manager, will guide you daily. The internship will be entirely dedicated to these topics, with LinkedIn as the primary channel, as well as Instagram and TikTok.

You will liaise with all teams to identify topics, expertise, and key moments to highlight. This work is part of a context of strong growth: Pennylane has grown from €100M to €250M in ARR in one year. At the company level, social media accounts for 15 to 20 publications per week, and Pennylane organizes nearly 250 events per year: so many topics and occasions to bring to life on our networks.

Main Responsibilities

1. Editorial Calendar & Publication

• Contribute to the preparation and updating of the social media editorial calendar

• Propose topics and publication angles in line with Pennylane's news and priorities, by discussing with the relevant teams to identify expertise and key moments to highlight

• Write and adapt content to the formats and codes of each platform

• Participate in the planning and publication of content
  

2. Content Creation

• Participate in the design of content for social media: posts, short formats, videos, and content related to Pennylane's key moments

• Contribute to the preparation of filming: research angles, scriptwriting, and coordination with involved individuals

• Participate in video recording and editing, as needed

• Gather information from internal teams to make content accurate and accessible
  

3. Monitoring & Analysis

• Monitor trends, formats, and social media usage

• Propose ideas for content and new relevant formats for Pennylane

• Share recommendations to improve content and its distribution
  

4. Community Management

• Participate in monitoring comments and messages received on social media

• Contribute to first-level moderation, in conjunction with Caroline and the relevant teams
  
  

Candidate Profile

• You are pursuing a degree in communication, digital marketing, media, or content creation

• You are interested in social media and its uses, especially in a B2B context

• You have good writing skills in French and know how to adapt your tone to different formats

• You are curious, organized, and comfortable proposing ideas

• You have an interest in video; prior filming or editing experience is a plus

• Proficiency in creation or editing tools is appreciated (e.g., CapCut or Canva)

• A good level of English is appreciated (Pennylane is in the process of internationalization)
