Sales & Hospitality Management Internship | Amsterdam mbo/hbo/wo

What will you do?

As a Sales & Hospitality Management Intern, you will work daily on organizing private cruises and group packages on our sloops and saloon boats in Amsterdam. Think of company outings, birthdays, bachelor parties, drinks, and even weddings on the water. You will ensure that these events are perfectly organized from start to finish, from the initial customer contact to the full execution on the day itself. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to learn a lot about sales, hospitality, and event management in practice.

What will you learn?

• Coordinating private cruises and group bookings from A to Z;

• Contributing ideas and coordinating various types of events such as company outings, weddings, drinks, and group excursions;

• Preparing quotes and assisting with invoicing clients;

• Maintaining contact with multiple suppliers;

• Answering incoming customer calls and ensuring a positive & professional customer experience;

• Providing information about our products;

• Collecting feedback after events to improve the guest experience. This can be done via surveys, phone calls, or other communication methods.

Practical

• Start date: February 2027;

• Duration: minimum 5 months;

• Internship type: work placement internship;

• Internship compensation: €500 per month;

• Location: office in the heart of Amsterdam.

Job requirements

• You are following an MBO (vocational education) or higher education program in Sales, Hospitality Management, or another relevant field;

• Residing in Amsterdam or the surrounding area;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of the Dutch and English languages;

• Ability to show initiative and meet deadlines.
