Internship – Purchasing Support

For our Mendrisio office, we are looking for a person to join the Internship Program within the Purchasing Department. The resource will support the team in the operational management of flows, collaborating with various company functions along the entire production chain.

Main Responsibilities

• Order Management: Collection and processing of orders for seasonal and continuous collections (Retail & Wholesale).

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Constant interface with the Merchandising department to meet order issuance deadlines (fabrics and finished garments).

• ERP Management: Creation of purchase orders for finished garments and materials, management of supplier master data, and coding of consumable materials on company systems (Navision).

• Delivery: Support in monitoring the status of fabric deliveries, contributing to the continuous improvement of tracking processes on the ERP.

• Special Projects & Traceability:

• Operational support in the RFID project (order monitoring and barcode delivery control to suppliers).

• Coordination with the Product Development and Quality teams for the development and control of care labels.

Degree (already obtained) in Economics, Management Engineering, or related disciplines. 

• Technical Skills: Excellent command of the Office Suite, with an advanced focus on Excel.

• Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken).

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal skills and aptitude for stakeholder management.

• Strong organization, prioritization skills, and a propensity for problem solving.
