Stage - Mechanician - Middle

We are looking for someone with a passion for technology or mechanics who enjoys working hands-on in a workshop. Then you might be perfect for Infrabel!

You will accompany a fixed Infrabel employee and be introduced to the workshop and task package of a Mechanician.

As a Mechanician, you will be at the center of the production of railway components.

Your internship will include:

• Fabrication and assembly of railway components;
• Quality control of manufactured components;
• You will work in a small team with fixed service hours.

Your internship will last at least 2 weeks and can start from February 2026 or later, depending on your training requirements.

• You are in your (pre)final year of ASO (doorstroomfinaliteit) BSO (arbeidsmarktfinaliteit) or TSO (dubbele finaliteit) in mechanics, or equivalent.
• You realize that security is our absolute priority and therefore meticulously works.

You will intern on the production site in the industrial area of Haren (Brussels), close to the Brussels ring, the train, and other public transportation. The company produces mechanical and electromechanical components for railway infrastructure and signaling..

You will receive a free train subscription (from your home address) for the duration of your internship.
