Internship: Innovative Strategic Business Design

Are you a driven (master's) student in Industrial Design Engineering looking for a hands-on internship in strategic business design and innovation, where you can truly make a difference? About Schuberg Philis
At Schuberg Philis, we are proud of what we do. We are responsible for building and managing critical computer systems for large companies, including Geldmaat, ING, and the Port of Rotterdam. As an intern, you will be part of our innovation team Lab271 and get the chance to use your creativity and skills to solve real problems. 

About Lab271
Lab271 is the innovation lab where future-oriented solutions are developed for challenging issues. Everything here is about experimenting and applying emerging technologies to tackle real problems. You will work on research, concept design, prototyping, business modeling, visualizations, and workshops for various clients. Curious about what one of your predecessors has done? What you will do

• Research and analysis of complex customer questions.
• Translating business problems into creative solutions.
• Concept design and prototyping of innovative products and services.
• Facilitating workshops and events.
• Contributing to the growth and innovation of Schuberg Philis.  

Who we are looking for

• An enthusiastic and proactive student, preferably pursuing a Master's in Industrial Design.
• Affinity with technology, innovation, design, and digital.
• Strong communication skills and a “can do”-mentality.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for at least 5 months full-time (start date in consultation, preferably September or February).
