Internship offered for winter 2026 at Québec or Saint-Georges. Duration: 4 months.

Your life as an intern at Canam
As an engineering project management intern at Canam, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Work on technical projects and continuous improvement projects
• Prepare engineering analyses: consultation and writing of specifications
• Analyze laboratory results
• Write reports of results
• Participate in data collection and improvement workshops
• Acquire knowledge about standards and cold-formed products
• Participate in the development of calculation tools
• Assist with laboratory tests to validate the resistance of certain profiles or assemblies
• Participate in project profitability analysis
• Work using 3D platform
• Model structures and analyze results
• Support engineering teams in their improvement initiatives (tracking action plans, supporting users, managing engineering projects)

Québec office

Located near the main arteries, our Quebec office brings together a team of about 30 dynamic young employees specializing in civil engineering; designers, engineers, project managers, etc. Free parking is available and several restaurants and shops are accessible on foot or within the building.

Saint-Georges office
Located in the heart of Saint-Georges, Canam's headquarters brings together 200 employees mainly specializing in civil engineering, information technology, and administration. Just a few minutes from downtown, our cozy work environment is close to restaurants, parks, and other services. Free parking spaces are also nearby, as well as the cycling path. Thanks to the proximity of Cégep Beauce-Appalaches, many affordable housing options are also available at different times of the year.
