Technically, Winamax is:
  • A powerful and innovative game engine: dynamic adaptation of the game offering, highly configurable poker games, fraud detection
  • A distributed and scalable architecture designed to process platform streams in real-time

Context
Our Editorial, Studio, and Product teams continuously produce content designed for social networks. In the application, we currently only have notifications to disseminate them — intrusive, poorly readable, quickly ignored. We need a rich and interactive format, powered by non-technical teams, and performant enough to run on the most viewed screen in the app.

Internship Objectives
  • Develop the front-end: interactive components, video player, real-time synchronized reactions between users, and a robust user consultation status (viewed / not viewed / in progress)
  • Build the editorial back-office so that business teams can plan and contextualize their content without going through a developer
  • Instrument everything to know what is actually watched: openings, completion, drop-off
    • Basic mockups are provided, but concrete proposals are expected for edge cases: transitions, gestures, behavior in degraded network conditions. A cross-functional subject, in direct contact with creative, editorial, and product teams.

    Backend & back-office: Node.js, JavaScript, JSDoc, Redis, MySQL

    Internship Conditions
  • End-of-studies internship (Master 2) available full-time only in Paris, France
  • Opportunity for a permanent contract at the end of the internship
