P1 Travel is the largest sports event Ticketing agency in Europe and we officially collaborate with the biggest football clubs, stadiums, and tournaments in the world. Think of clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, and SSC Napoli, but also the Olympic Games, Formula 1, and Wimbledon. We bring business and private clients to the event of their dreams. You can be part of this in the form of an internship with our Finance team. Feeling for sports and figures? The finance team
The six-person finance team, led by Martijn, collectively takes care of all financial processes within the organization. As you can imagine, the event/travel industry is a dynamic playing field where no day is the same. It is the task of the finance team, in collaboration with the rest of the organization, to ensure accurate figures that can be used for decision-making.

Finance & Control Internship
During your internship, you will be a full part of the team and we will ensure a varied package of tasks. Your first weeks will be dedicated to familiarizing yourself with our processes and working methods. After that, you will start working on your own set of tasks. These can include:

• Creating periodic and ad hoc reports;

• Assisting with financial month-end and year-end closings;

• Performing checks and controls on, among other things, the accuracy and completeness of financial data and processes;

• Creating result bookings on events and analyzing them.

In addition to gaining valuable experience in the organization, we are happy to discuss large and challenging projects with you that will help P1 and you further in your development. For example, setting up management reports yourself.

Your profile

• You are currently pursuing a finance study in the direction of Accountancy, Business Economics, Business Administration, Finance & Control, or similar, and are looking for a hands-on internship starting January/February 2027.

• You are proactive, want to learn as much as possible, and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

• You master the Dutch language.

• It's a big plus if you also have a passion for sports yourself, as we do!

Where will you end up?

We are located in the beautiful city of Leiden and you will join a fun and ambitious company where no day is the same. We currently consist of a group of 80 colleagues and work with a fun group of interns each semester, spread across different departments. So you will definitely not be the only one starting.
