Finance Internship | Amsterdam HBO/WO

What will you do?

As a Finance Intern, you will work within the financial team of Flagship Amsterdam and gain a good mix of operational and controlling tasks. You will assist with both accounts payable administration and financial control activities. You will learn how to maintain, control, and analyze financial administration within a fast-growing, diverse organization.

What will you learn?

• Processing and checking purchase invoices via Klippa and Exact Online;

• Preparing weekly payment batches and employee expense claims;

• Daily bank processing for multiple operating companies;

• Checking interim accounts and assisting with month-end closings;

• Creating and processing manual journal entries;

• Analyzing financial data (such as realization vs. budget);

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports.

Practical

Start date: February 2027;

Duration: minimum 5 months;

Internship type: work placement internship;

Internship allowance: €500 per month;

Location: office in the heart of Amsterdam.

Job Requirements

• You are pursuing an HBO (University of Applied Sciences) education (or higher) in Finance, Accountancy, Business Economics, or another relevant field;

• Residing in Amsterdam or its surroundings;

• You have an affinity with financial administration and/or control;

• You work accurately, are eager to learn, and show initiative;

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both orally and in writing;

• Experience with Excel and/or Exact Online is a plus.
