Event Management Intern | Flagship Events Amsterdam HBO/WO

What will you do?

As an Event Management Intern at Flagship Events Amsterdam, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in sales, marketing, and event management. You will be involved in the entire event process, from initial customer contact to execution and post-event evaluation. Whether it's a workshop, team outing, sports day, dining experience, or a fully catered corporate event: you will ensure everything is well organized. You will assist in elaborating on requests and contribute ideas for suitable concepts.

Additionally, you will maintain contact with clients, suppliers, and partners, and support the execution of events. You will follow up on requests, brainstorm commercial opportunities, and assist in creating content and campaigns to promote our events. You will work closely with an experienced colleague who will guide you throughout your internship. This will give you a lot of responsibility, allow you to learn quickly, and provide a good understanding of how commercial events are organized in practice.

What will you learn?

• Organizing events from request to execution;

• Advising clients on the various events and activities we offer;

• Maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, and venues;

• Supporting the execution of events;

• Taking photos and videos at events;

• Brainstorming new ways to sell events;

• Collecting and processing customer feedback;

• Contributing ideas for future improvements.

Practical Information

Start Date: February 2027;

Duration: minimum 5 months;

Internship Type: work placement;

Internship Allowance: €500 per month;

Location: office in the heart of Amsterdam.

Job Requirements

• You are pursuing an MBO, HBO, or WO education in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Sales, or another relevant field;

• Residing in Amsterdam or the surrounding area;

• Your internship lasts at least 5 months;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
