As a data scientist, you will join the Pulsar team alongside three other data scientists.
🎯 MISSIONS
Veepee develops cutting-edge algorithms for forecasting and pricing, which are strategic priorities for the company.
Your internship will focus on improving the accuracy of our pricing and forecasting models, by working on cross-functional features.
There are many promising research avenues to improve our machine learning algorithms, including:
product attributes, such as normalizing sizes and colors, and dimensionality reduction using associated purchases brand representations based on user purchase history, and product representations based on their descriptions and images In close collaboration with the forecasting and pricing team, you will explore, develop prototypes, and compare different advanced modeling approaches.
Your work will be evaluated using clear key performance indicators (KPIs), during rigorous offline evaluations conducted on large datasets.
As soon as a model demonstrates solid performance, you will have the opportunity to deploy it in our cloud MLOps environment (Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow, MLflow, GitLab...).
👉 REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree (Bac +5) in Data Science Solid knowledge of Python Proficiency in SQL Good understanding of machine learning (ML evaluation, classification, regression, etc.) Interest in software engineering best practices Asset: knowledge of dbt, Git, Docker, Kubernetes Excellent communication skills in French and English Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems Autonomy, curiosity, and willingness to deploy solutions into production Eagerness to learn new technologies and scientific approaches
