We are looking for the talents of a future Data Scientist / Data Analyst (M/F) to join our teams for a 6-month end-of-studies Master's internship starting in March 2027. This internship is based in Paris (75).

Integrated into the E-commerce department and reporting to the Lead Data Science & Analytics, you will support the team in daily tasks as well as in building dedicated projects. You will be involved in the following topics:

Data Analysis

You will be a full member of the Data Science & Analytics team and will actively participate in its daily operations:

• Ad Hoc Analyses: You will conduct various specific analyses essential for refining our understanding of our brands, the performance of our products, and the behavior of our customers.
• Operational Excellence: You will contribute to the team's continuous development by identifying friction points, structuring new processes, and automating recurring tasks.
• Business Reporting & Communication: You will be responsible for several reporting updates. You will be responsible for maintaining weekly dashboards, monthly reports, and initiating key communications for the business teams.
• Marketing Support: You will participate in routine operations by performing targeted data extractions for our marketing initiatives. This includes setting up rigorous control groups and measuring the incremental performance of these campaigns.
• AI Integration: You will be led to use AI daily in your missions and will actively participate in defining and sharing best practices for its use within the team.

Implementation of a Product Embeddings Engine (NLP): You will be at the heart of developing a key algorithmic foundation: transforming textual descriptions into vector representations (embeddings). This project will feed multiple future initiatives.

You will be involved in the entire project lifecycle:

• Data Preprocessing: Cleaning textual data from the catalog, normalization, and preparation of training corpora.
• Modeling: Benchmarking, fine-tuning selection of appropriate models (Sentence-Transformers, LLMs, etc.).
• Industrialization: The internship does not stop at the experimental prototype. You will actively participate in deploying the pipeline in our production environment via Metaflow.
• Monitoring: Setting up automation for updating vectors during new collections and monitoring the quality of embeddings over time.

Requirements

• You are a student in the final year of higher education (BAC+5) with a specialization in Data Science / Machine Learning.
• Sufficient proficiency in SQL is essential.
• Knowledge of Python will be valued.
• Understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and a strong interest in NLP.
• Awareness of business issues: you are driven by the desire to understand our customers, our products, and our processes to generate impact.
• Data visualization skills to present your analyses clearly.
• You are rigorous, structured, and have a strong team spirit.
• Proactive: you enjoy working in an environment where there are still things to build.
