Management Control Internship (Companies)

In a context of structuring and growth, we are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst Intern to join the Finance team within the holding company of the SOGECLAIR group for a duration of 6 months.

Reporting to the Financial Department, you will actively participate in performance management and the continuous improvement of our analysis tools.

Your missions

At the heart of the company's financial challenges, you will notably be involved in:

Management & Reporting

• Production and improvement of monthly reporting
• Detailed analysis of monthly results
• Analysis and monitoring of the payroll
• Development and optimization of existing reporting tools
• Contribution to the implementation of relevant performance indicators

Budget & Forecasts

• Participation in budget re-forecasting exercises
• Monitoring of variances between actuals and budget

 Financial Analysis

• Analysis of working capital requirement (operating cash) and debt
• Financial analysis of strategic projects
• Monitoring and control of R&D expenses
• Participation in ad-hoc decision support studies

This internship offers comprehensive exposure to management control and corporate finance issues, with an active role in process improvement.

Requirements

 Profile sought

• Student in Bac+4 / Bac+5 (business school, university, or equivalent) specializing in finance / management control
• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in numbers
• Very good command of Excel (Pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power BI)
• Rigor, autonomy, and synthesis skills
• Ability to work in a demanding and evolving environment
• Curiosity and proactivity in a continuous improvement logic
